Five years as member of Junior/Senior High School squads with two years in a leadership position (captain and co-captain).
Five years as member of a NCAA Division I-A collegiate color guard (flag line) including three years in a leadership position (captain and co-captain).
Equipment used includes flag and pole, cane, parasol, hoops, feather boa, rifle, swing flag and streamers.
Instructor Terri Hopkins has brought her teaching methods to communities throughout the Ark-La-Miss including Cleveland, Miss., Farmerville, La. and Monticello, Ark. She has also been the flag instructor for five years to the Hamburg, Ark. Junior & Senior High School bands. She also currently serves as flagline coach for the Monticello, Ark. Middle & High School marching bands. Hopkins was also on staff at the high school auxiliary line camps at Northeast Louisiana University for three consecutive years.
Hopkins has been requested to develop tryout routines for both collegiate and high school flag lines. She's also served as tryout judge for Bastrop, La. High School and for the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
